CLAUS PROJECT REVOLUTIONISES PRECISION VITICULTURE WITH ADVANCED MONITORING SYSTEMS

ERDF – VENETO RP 2021-2027.

We are excited to announce the launch of the CLAUS project – Precision Viticulture and Advanced Monitoring for the Development of Smart Agrifood Systems, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the PR FESR Veneto 2021-2027 initiative. Regional Decree No. 492 of April 26, 2023, “Call for Consolidation of Innovative Start-ups,” Action 1.1.3 – “Support for Investments and Research and Innovation Activities of SMEs,” SUB B “Support for Research and Innovation Activities of SMEs.” 

 

The project will last for 19 months and will conclude in March 2025. 

CLAUS is a patented cable-driven motorized hardware designed for use in covered agricultural systems, with a primary focus on continuous and remote monitoring in table grape vineyards. Compared to competing IoT solutions, CLAUS offers a distinctive advantage by optimizing operations, reducing the use of harmful pesticides and fertilizers, minimizing environmental impact, and improving yield and quality.
